Head of School

Bhairavi Chandramouli holds a Master’s degree in Education and a MACTE-accredited Elementary I–II Montessori credential. A member of the MASS community since 2016, she brings over a decade of Montessori experience to her leadership.

Passionate about inclusive, project-based learning grounded in the Montessori cosmic curriculum, Bhairavi actively contributes to the broader Montessori community through her work with the American Montessori Society. She is a two-time AMS Innovation Fellowship Think Tank member (2023, 2024) and a frequent presenter at national conferences.

Her writing on equity and neurodiversity in Montessori education has appeared in Montessori Life and Atlanta Parent magazines. Her upcoming articles—”A Casa for One and All” (Fall 2024) and “Inclusion in Montessori” (Winter 2024–25)—highlight inclusive classroom practices. In 2025, she was honored with the AMS Impact Award.

Beyond school leadership, Bhairavi has served on the board of Green Cell Inc. and co-founded Soar Family Support Inc., a network supporting families navigating children’s mental health.

At MASS, she is committed to fostering a developmentally appropriate, compassionate learning environment where every individual’s dignity and potential are honored.
